Finance & Administration Manager – Permanent, part-time position

The position of Finance & Administration Manager is responsible for providing effective and efficient management of NEWA’s accounts receivable (invoicing), accounts payable, capital expenditure and payroll functions; in conjunction with NEWA’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO).  The role is responsible for the maintenance of NEWA’s business systems, including XERO, and the Document Management system.  Administrative functions include planning travel and accommodation, mail processing, planning and coordinating events and office equipment and supplies. 

Flexible working hours are available from 25 to 35 hours 4 days per week, subject to agreement, to suit an employee with school age children or other commitments.

You are known for your attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality in all that you do.  You enjoy working in a small, collaborative team of motivated people and providing financial and administrative support and advice.  You have excellent time management skills.

You take pride in the excellent customer service you consistently provide to both internal and external customers, by promoting a positive, helpful and friendly environment.  You are a thorough planner with excellent computer skills, including ideally experience in using online accounting software.
